Mass Affect

Mass Affect is a physics-based puzzle game built around a simple but addictive core loop: match a randomly generated target weight by dropping and stacking objects into a box. Each object has a unique mass, and the physics engine handles realistic collisions and balance, making every placement meaningful.

Once you hit the exact target weight, the exit unlocks — and the level resets with a new challenge. This loop runs infinitely, pushing you to experiment with different combinations, balance precision, and timing.

Created solo for the GMTK 2025 Game Jam, Mass Affect embraces the theme “Loop” both mechanically and conceptually. The gameplay loop reflects the endless cycle of trial, error, and mastery, while the resetting levels keep the challenge fresh and engaging.
